as soon as you have signed a purchase agreement or identified
a property. We conduct our searches online and at metro Minneapolis
counties directly. For outstate Minnesota, we have developed
relationships over the years with abstracting companies covering
the entire state of Minnesota. We can respond quickly in almost
every case.
Title examinations and underwriting are primarily
completed by Tom McManus, a known title expert in Minneapolis.
Tom is skilled not only at identifying title defects, but
at coming up with creative and effective solutions for curing
them. His knowledge of risk can be very valuable when you
or your client is faced with a defect which is holding up
their transaction.
Commercial closings will be conducted by
Wendy Ethen when possible, at your location or ours. Wendy
travels with laptop and printer so that you don’t have
to leave your office. She has handled all types of commercial
closings and understands the interests of each party to the
transaction so that she can offer diplomatic solutions to
last minute closing issues. Wendy’s legal background
allows her to make complex underwriting and closing decisions
at the table, without delay. She is comfortable with the stress
that some transactions generate and is willing to go the extra
mile to assist her clients in closing their deals.
